Ask who runs the kitchen and how long they've been running it. Ask if they'll be cooking on your specific dates. Ask how a dietary need travels from your spreadsheet to the person holding the pan.

A kitchen with an owner answers in a sentence. A kitchen without one answers in logistics. Either way, now you know what you're booking — three meals a day of it.

Food is the retreat's real program — it happens more often than the sessions do. Book the cook, not the PDF.
